My Philosophiæ Doctor (PhD)

PresentationsPublished Papers – Vulgarization Activities

My work location

I made my PhD research at the Commissariat à l’Energie Atomique (CEA) located in Saclay and at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) in Orsay. Besides, I work in the Institut de Recherche sur les lois Fondamentales de l’Univers (CEA/DSM/IRFU) and in the Laboratoire de l’Accélérateur Linéaire (CNRS/LAL) in the Particle Physics division.

Every three months, the french group had to stay in Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (FNAL) for collaboration meetings in order to share our research status in the DZERO experiment (D0) we are involved in.

My research topics

    1. Research of the Standard Model Higgs boson in the diboson WW channel with a dimuon final state for the D0 experiment.
    2. Measurement of the top/antitop quark asymmetry for the D0 experiment.

For these two research topics, I worked in international collaboration at the  Fermi National Laboratory TeVatron collisionner near Chicago (Illinois, USA) using the TeVatron collisionner.
An easy understanding video based on these two subjects is available below :

The D0 International Collaboration

The DØ experiment consists of a worldwide collaboration of scientists conducting research on the fundamental nature of matter. DØ was one of two major experiments (the other is the CDF experiment) located at the world’s second highest-energy accelerator,[1] the Tevatron Collider at the Fermilab in Batavia, Illinois, USA.
